Settle into deep rest as you’re gently guided through Yoga Nidra, a meditative practice done lying down that invites the body to relax while the mind drifts into a calm, receptive state. Like a water wheel turning slowly, this practice supports natural cycles of release, restoration, and renewal.

As a Yoga teacher, Tricia creates a space of connection and belonging where each student feels supported on their journey inward. Her teaching is rooted in opening the heart and inviting awareness into the present moment, where transformation quietly unfolds. Each practice is a gentle balance between effort and ease, a journey toward inner harmony and self-discovery. Through mindful movement, breath, and stillness, participants nurture a sense of peace that extends beyond the mat.

Karen and Tricia met in 2022 and quickly became friends. During our conversations, we realized that we grew up in the same neighborhood in Terryville, CT. In fact, Karen remembers riding her bike and delivering newspapers to Tricia’s front stoop. Because of this connection, we decided to name our business after the historic Eli Terry Waterwheel located in Terryville.
In relationships, a water wheel represents how people can support each other by "pouring" their strengths and efforts into each other, achieving more than they could individually.
Spiritually, a water wheel symbolizes continuous motion, giving and receiving, and the connection to all things. It suggests the importance of trust and allowing oneself to be continually filled like the water that keeps the wheel turning. The wheel fills with water, is moved, and then empties itself, representing the pattern of being filled with grace to overflow and give to others. It depicts inner-power being released to serve others.
